I’m glad you made these video’s my pup is out of controlllll!!!!! She poops all over my carpet I know she’s only 7 weeks old but my question is what is the right age to start training them!

but then it means that the dog must learn how to walk without leash first then learn how to pee and poop on command?? because the dog in my house were lost from somewhere and found by me, she probably 2 years, and I don’t know how to training her correctly.. thanks..

I like the term “go piddle!” It’s not something you say to other people and it doesn’t sound rude like “go poop” or “go pee.” Thanks for the video!

@MintyandPenny Put it on the leash. It can’t hold it forever. Leash training is very a staple of good training.

my rotty’s learning quick! i don’t use a leash when we’re in the backyard. I walk with her, say “quick go pee”, she goes, I pet her and praise her, we go inside, and I give her a treat. she’s 5 months and she’s almost got it down 100%^^.

hey great video i couldnt agree with you more you seem to know quite a bit so what if im saying to get my lab and GSD puppy ready to go outside i say “do you have to go potty” and then when im outside i say go potty go potty go potty is that ok? or will they get confused?

I follow Eric’s technique, but I always say, “Go potty!” — nothing else. It’s only ever used for the puppy’s outdoor potty training, so can’t be confused with any other activity. It works for us!

Please help me, I have a new puppy I have crate trained him no problem, he goes pee pee on his weewee pad but he always goes number two in the house, any suggestions what to do i am frustrated.
